Matrix eat/work is a multifunctional table/workspace developed by Ken Isaacs. Cari Gonzalez-Casanova and Alain Bobineaud built a version of this table/desk following the instructions in Ken Isaacs manual How to Build your own living structure, published in 1974. Excerpts of this manual, typical of the DIY manuals of the counter-culture movement in the US, are referenced in Cari Gonzalez-Casanova's artist book Home Guard Manual of Camouflage published in 2016.
