Produced on the occasion of Leigh Ledare exhibition at mfc-michèle didier gallery and the publication of the Double Bind set, the installation deploys 480 posters that take up the entire pages of volume 3 entitled Ephemeras, composed of 6 magazines of 80 pages each.

Ephemeras visually reconstructs a pile of documents composed by the artist mixing different sources, and collected from magazines or personal papers.

Arranged on top of each other and photographed with the help of a reprographic bench, they successively reveal fashion images, advertisements, excerpts from articles, erotic to pornographic iconography from the 70s.

The whole does not seem a priori to benefit from a particular arrangement or order or from a common context, except for the artist who took them. By bringing together, repeating motifs or true fortuitous compositions, the artist gives a personal aura to all these figures.

The installation takes the form of a consultation of this corpus of images, in the manner of a slide show, to produce a form of collage that the artist has created over time; last page shows the table of his studio.

The posters must be installed partially or entirely, following the order of the pages indicated in the 6 magazines, horizontally or vertically, in rows or columns.
