Women's Travel Plans is a silkscreen print, the text written in the work is a biography of the artist Artemisia Gentileschi (1593 - 1653), an Italian painter from the Caravaggio School, one of the first female painters to establish herself in a male-dominated world. She was also one of the first women to paint historical and religious subjects. We can distinguish a repeated motif from a classical painting, which could be Adoration of the Magi by Gentileschi, on which figures of Carolee Schneemann from her performances or from her archives are superimposed.
